We say Taos, but we're actually situated sixteen miles southwest of Taos. Big River Raft "base camp" is at the intersection of Highway 68 and Junction 570 in Pilar at the bottom of the Rio Grande Gorge.

Taos Rafting

The thing about whitewater rafting with full-service outfitter Big River Raft Trips is that once you arrive at the Rio Grande Visitor Center where the Big River Raft Trips van is parked and waiting, you can take it easy. We ask that you bring a few basic items so you'll be comfortable and protected from the elements, but we're full-service, and that means you can expect all the loose ends to be tied up securely. Once you've parked in the spacious parking at the Visitor Center, just a short drive from either Santa Fe or Taos, rafting fun can begin.
